Irina Kaldewey

​

Born on June 11, 1983, in Dinslaken, North Rhine-Westphalia, I grew up in Berlin, Germany.

​

In 2012, I graduated as a Meisterschüler in New Media, studying under Hito Steyerl at the Berlin University of the Arts, Germany.

​

From 2008 to 2009, I studied in the Time and Space department at the Academy of Fine Arts (Kuvataideakatemia), Helsinki, Finland, with a focus on photography, sound, video, and installation.

​

From 2014 to 2019, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin, Germany. My Bachelor project focused on creating a valuable textile.

​

In 2018, I studied abroad at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), Amsterdam, Netherlands, specializing in draping, digital draping, and couture techniques.​
